MGVISION SPRINGS INTO ACTION WITH BREAKTHROUGH PRODUCTS
Company To Release A Series of Innovative Creations
Irvine, Calif., May 18, 1998 — MGVision announced today that it will soon release the first of many innovative products, which capture the newest advancements in today’s technology. Among the products to be released in summer 1998 are the Digital Reader™, the Digital Wallet™, and the Personal Access Security System (P.A.S.S.)™ card.
To seize the rapid development of digital imaging, one of the first products to be released is the Digital Reader, which will come in four different series to support the Miniature FLASH, Compact FLASH, MMC (MultiMedia Card), and SSFDC medias. Attached through the computer’s parallel port, the Digital Reader allows the quick and easy loading of images from digital camera to computer. Six times faster than loading images from a digital camera, the Digital Reader does not drain camera batteries since it comes equipped with an adapter that draws power from the computer system.
Also available this summer is the Digital Wallet. Perfect for high-resolution digital cameras, the Digital Wallet is an excellent alternative to limited FLASH card technology. Connected to a digital camera, the Digital Wallet will automatically store up to 10,000 high-resolution images. The Digital Wallet includes complimentary software that installs into any WindowsÒ
95, Windows® 98 or Windows NTÒ
environment and makes accessing digital images a simple task.
MGVision will also be releasing their new Personal Access Security System (P.A.S.S.) card. Using encrypted software and the latest in SmartCard technology, the P.A.S.S. card will provide computer users with total protection against invasion of privacy. When inserted into a desktop or notebook, the credit card-shaped P.A.S.S. allows only the card-user to have access to the computer files or system. Upon removal of the P.A.S.S., no other users can access these files or the entire computer system. The P.A.S.S. will come in both desktop and notebook versions. Card-users will also have the choice of securing only a master folder or of securing the complete system.
