MGV INTERNATIONAL TO BUILD NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY
Company's Expansion Results in Addition of
New Manufacturing Facility in Irvine, CA
Irvine, Calif., June 8, 1998 — As part of its continued growth in the high-tech marketplace, MGV International announced today that it will construct a new manufacturing plant at its corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA. The expansion is necessary to support MGV's increased product line and to maintain the company's technological edge.
According to Marc Ganouna, MGV’s president and ceo, housing the corporate office and manufacturing under one central location is a natural progression for MGV. The company’s plan to extend its current family of products will not only require MGV to have the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art equipment to catapult production time and efficiency, but it will also need its manufacturing to be in close proximity to the procurement, sales and credit expertise of its corporate headquarters.
The new, 50,000 square foot facility will contain state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. "MGV has always been proud of our dedication to following only the highest standards of design, production and distribution, " Ganouna said. "We realize that as the industry changes, we must be able to respond quickly. By capturing the newest technological advancements, MGV can continue to provide excellence to our customers as we have done for over 14 years."
MGV International is the parent company of MGV Memory. The company is an international supplier of high-grade PC Card and memory upgrade products, which also include the new PC-100 specifications. MGV distributes its products through resellers, distributors, retailers and to several computer companies through OEM agreements.
