MGV RECEIVES ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
Company Recognized for Its Outstanding Design and Manufacturing Capabilities
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 9, 1996 -- In recognition
of its achievements in the design and manufacturing of memory products, MGV Manufacturing,
a division of MGV International Inc., today announced that it has received ISO
9001 certification. The division is the manufacturing arm for MGV Memory.
To obtain ISO 9001 certification, companies must
meet a series of international guidelines for quality design, manufacturing, management
and business processes. In addition, ISO 9001 certifies that a company has an
established communications program which enhances quality, efficiency, on-time
delivery as well as customer and supplier relations.
"ISO 9001 certification has become a condition
for doing business in the technology industry," said Marc Ganouna, MGV’s
chairman and chief executive officer. "This recognition reinforces our customers’
confidence levels by formally acknowledging that MGV follows the highest standards
from design to production to distribution. Being recognized by a third-party
accrediting organization strengthens the industry’s perception of MGV as a proficient
market leader."
According to Marc,
ISO certification ensures that all products purchased from MGV meet rigorous international
standards for manufacturing including specific guidelines for quality source materials
and components.

the company because it certifies that MGV consistently produces high-quality products
which customers can rely on," Marc said. "To maintain ISO 9001 certification,
MGV will continually monitor its design, manufacturing and business processes
to ensure they meet ISO standards."
MGV is a worldwide supplier of high-quality memory
upgrades for printers, servers, notebook, desktop and workstation computers.
In addition, the manufacturing facility offers contract manufacturing and tape
and reel services. MGV products are available through resellers, distributors
and at more than 1,500 retail outlets including office product superstores, consumer
electronics stores and mass merchants. The company also distributes memory products
to a variety of computer products companies through OEM agreements.
